Road Trip to Texas Zeta Days
Although we didn’t necessarily hit the road (we chose our favorite airline), Austin Alumnae Chapter members made the 400 mile trip to Lubbock in February for the Texas Zeta Days. We’d like to thank everyone who made it to the Celebration of Life Luncheon on October 30th, 2009. The luncheon was a great success with an excellent fashion show presented by Julian Gold. Not only were the fashions something we all wanted to wear, but the models were inspiring – all of them breast cancer survivors taking the run way for the cause. The guest speaker, Texas First Lady Anita Perry, made note of all of the Survivors in the room and spoke about fighting for a cure and the Silent Auction was very successful with great prizes including shopping sprees, signed...
