Recruitment (Rush) FAQ for AustinZTA

“Rush” Is Now “Recruitment”

“Rush” is a term coined around the turn of the century, but it’s been nearly a century since members “rushed” new collegians. In the late 1990s, National Panhellenic Council changed it to “Recruitment”. So, while you went through “Rush”, your daughter and her friends are going through “Recruitment”….but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still a giant rush!

MIS Forms Online!

No more waiting for Themis to arrive and digging through that list printed in teency font for the correct contact address. ZetaTauAlpha.org has a Sisters Only section of the site where you can log in and fill out the MIS online.

If you don’t yet have access to the Sisters Only section of the ZetaTauAlpha.org, visit this link to get set up:

Once logged in, you’ll go to Resources >> Recommend a Member where you’ll have three options for filling out the MIS:

• Online with electronic submission.
• A fill-in version that you’ll complete, print, and mail.
• A form you can print, fill out by hand, and mail.

That same section of the site also has links to the lists of State Reference Chairs as well as ZTA Legacy Policy.

You’ll need to send a form to each school the potential new member plans to attend.
